Time limits being enforced to allow for shorter queues
In a continuing effort to ease queue times and alleviate the growing concern of the Aion playerbase, NCsoft has finally implemented measures to stop the player store abuse.
Upon logging into game, after an often long queue, players were angered to witness a sea of AFK players utilizing the player store to keep their characters from being logged out while they were unavailable to play in turn avoiding the queue themselves. These players would leave a outrageously [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] high priced item in their store,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], nearly guaranteeing that they would not be booted until their return making it even more difficult for other players to log in.
Now, there will be a 30 minute time limit on player stores. If the player isn't available to continue their gameplay,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], then the standard inactivity rule will apply and the system will log that player out automatically.
We are bringing the servers down at 6:00AM PST (more), September 25th,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], for maintenance. The purpose of this downtime is to tweak the way Private Stores work. A timer of 30 minutes will be implemented to prevent these shops from being Aion kinah abused as a means to prevent disconnection and alleviate queues. The maintenance is expected to run no longer than 1 hour.Thank you for your patience,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]!
The hope is that this will ease the queues and make it a bit more fair everyone all around. Will this change make logging in easier? Let us know what you think by clicking the "Post your comments" link below,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych]!
