It is said that it is a good horse that never stumbles. Everyone including the saints has moments of firing into the wrong flock; it is inevitable that you will be held responsible for a small wrong doing. As long as you are brave or free hearted enough to admit that it is your fault, and try every possible means to fix it up, you can still win others admiration and respect.
I always remember my friend Rose. She borrowed my UGG boot without asking me in advance. Although we were pretty close at that time,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], I did not like others touch my boots without asking. It was a habit that I valued those small things a lot. I remembered it was a raining day and she did not tell me about the ruined boots until the next day I found they were covered in mud. You know that pair of boots was a gift from my sister who had them delivered all the way from Austrian. I liked the boots so much since they made my legs seem slim and long.
What pissed me off was not the UGG,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], or she took them without asking but she would not admit that it was her fault. She even said that she did not expect the bad weather since it was perfect when she went out. And she kept saying how careful she had been,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], she had tried everything she could to avoid the muddy road and she was late for the appointment. I listened to her without interrupting since I just wanted to know when she would apology which really mattered a lot to me.
I did not get a chance to forgive her because she never asked for my forgiveness. This small incident taught me one thing: there were different types of people in your life and you should know what kind of people were trust worthy and what kind of people you should make friends with.
