IBM formally inked a contract with the national high-tech administrative committee of Ningbo, Zhejiang Province, making sure the establishment of a logistics and information outsourcing industrial park in Ningbo High-tech Zone.
At the same time, IBM announced that it planned to establish a Ningbo research and development center and a logistics industry solution center of China research and development center.
Pursuant to the cooperation memo of understanding, the two parties will jointly make efforts to build the industrial park into a leading smart logistics software and information outsourcing industrial base in China, and boost the IBM China smart logistics center to settle in the Ningbo high-tech zone.
Ningbo, a major logistics center in South China, was regarded to be a nationwide logistics city in China by the logistics industry adjustment and stimulus plan issued by the State Council, the nation‘s cabinet,Mobile solution, in April 2009, and the nation has constructed a Yangtze River Delta Logistics Zone centralizing in Shanghai,healthcare outsourcing, Nanjing,Business process outsourcing, and Ningbo.
