PHILADELPHIA — [link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
After shooting 5-for-13 in last night’s 89-86 loss to the 76ers, and shooting a combined 9-for-32 during the last two games, the Celtics [team stats] forward isn’t looking for an out.
“Myself, I know I have to be more consistent and do a lot more,” [link widoczny dla zalogowanych]
“I’m not the one to make excuses,” he said. “The transformation is not an easy thing, but we have to fix it, and I’m sure we will.”

“It’s on the starters,” said Rondo. “The new guys aren’t starting the game. Now, it’s on us.”

“This is definitely on the four of us to get it done,” he said.
Baby’s first steps
Glen Davis took his first step back toward action at the team’s morning shootaround by taking shots and walking through plays with the second team.
But the Celtics forward, who missed a fourth straight game last night with a strained patella tendon, will have to wait before his next game. He did not play last night against the Sixers.
Tomorrow’s game against the Bucks, however, may be another matter.
“He looked better, but he didn’t do enough,” said Rivers. “It was just skeleton work. Nothing strenuous. I do think he’ll play (tomorrow), though we don’t know for sure.
“Delonte (West) is doubtful for (tomorrow), but we’re hopeful for next week,” Rivers said of the guard, who is recovering from a right ankle sprain. “We have a lot of games, so hopefully we’re going to get a lot of these guys.”
Shooting stars
Several Celtics looked on with amusement when Kobe Bryant went back out onto the American Airlines [AMR] floor to take extra shots following the Lakers’ loss to the Heat Thursday.
