SEMshowedthatcolloidalmicro-spheresof500nmwerecloselypackedintofeearrangementonthefilmsurface. Thecolloidalcrystalwasamix-tureofsmall-sizedomainswiththeorderedscaleattensofmicrometers. Awidephotonicbandgapwasob-servedintheUV-viS-NIRspectrumofCdSe-Si02photoniccrystal,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], whichwasdifferentfromthatofSi02colloi-dalcrystalpreparedonITO-glass. Thestopbandatnearinfraredshiftedtoshortwavelengthwiththeincidenceangeldecreasing. CdSe-SiO2photoniccrystalspreparedcouldbeusedascamouflagematerials.
