The University of North Carolina men's basketball team recently held its media day and this is what head coach [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] had to say about top freshman Harrison Barnes from Ames High School.
Barnes, regarded as the nation's No. 1 recruit, scored 13 points to lead his team during Friday's UNC intrasquad scrimmage.
"If he's as good as those other three, he's pretty dog gone good," [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] said. "In my opinion, those are probably the best four players out of Iowa in the last 15 years."

Barnes will be wearing No. 40,[link widoczny dla zalogowanych], just as he did as a Little Cyclone. Ames won 53 straight games with Barnes and North Carolina is counting on some of that winning pedigree to help make a difference for a Tar Heel squad coming off an uncharacteristic 17-loss season in 2009-10.
"Harrison has one thing that very few people have, he just has tremendous discipline, tremendous focus, tremendous desire and is willing to do those little things that make him special, and he's got a charisma about him.
"When Tyler Hansbrough got here comparing him in his freshman year to Harrison right now, Harrison's more focused than Tyler," [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] added.
Previous players [link widoczny dla zalogowanych] has grabbed out of Iowa have worked out well — Raef Lafrenz, Kirk Hinrich and Nick Collison at Kansas — and look for Barnes to make an instant impact on a national level.
