It is located in the center of the Chengdu Plain and enjoys beautiful environment and agreeable climate and so Chengdu is named to be “the land of affluence”. Chengdu covers an area of 12390 square kilometers, with population of 11.03 million. Chengdu is the main artery of traffic and the communication center in the southwest of China. From time immemorial Chengdu has been the cultural and economic hub in the southwest region as well as the science & technology, business and financial center. It is a pivotal city in “Chengdu and Chongqing Economic development zone” which is the third largest economic development zone in China. <br /> Chengdu is one of the outsourcing base cities authorized by Ministry of Commerce at the earliest time. As the center of outsourcing service in southwest China, Chengdu boasts not only a modernized infrastructure such as well-developed communication and transportation networks, but also competitive talent reserves. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Service outsourcing industry in Chengdu <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Goal of service outsourcing development in Chengdu <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />The development goals of Chengdu&rsquo;s outsourcing service are as follows: <br /> First, the outsourcing export would amount to 100-200 million dollars,<a href="http://www.orbto.com/software-outsourcing/php-outsourcing/" target="_blank" class="postlink">PHP development outsourcing</a>, the revenues of service outsourcing would amount to 26 billion Yuan; in 2010,<a href="http://www.orbto.com/company/why-orbto/" target="_blank" class="postlink">Outsourcing companies</a>, the outsourcing export will amount to 500 million dollars and revenues 80 billion Yuan with an annual growth rate of over 45%. <br /> Second, in 2010, a group of outsourcing enterprises with working staff of over 3000 and with revenues of over 1 billion Yuan will come into being. The total number of people working in outsourcing industry will exceed 200,000. <br /> Third,<a href="http://www.orbto.com/business-process-outsourcing/data-entry-outsourcing/" target="_blank" class="postlink">Data processing companies</a>, the Hi-tech zone will serve as the major industrial complex and shed influence on Wuhou District and Du Jiang Yan. Two outsourcing convergence zones with areas of 9 square kilometers and 10 million square meters respectively will be established. <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Preferential policies of Chengdu Government to encourage service outsourcing <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />Chengdu Municipal Government has issued a series of preferential policies for the development outsourcing industry, for example, “Chengdu municipal government opinions on the development of outsourcing service”, “Preferential policies for the development of software industry in the hi-tech industry development zone (trial implementation)”, “Policies and opinions on the development of Chengdu&rsquo;s software industry”, “Opinions on the acceleration of the development of outsourcing industry” as an attachment to the policies issued by the provincial government. Chengdu municipal government also took other measures to propel the development of outsourcing industry in the aspects of finance, tax, investment and financing, government purchasing, talent nurturing,<a href="http://www.orbto.com/software-outsourcing/flash-web-development/" target="_blank" class="postlink">Flash development outsourcing</a>, development of industrial clusters and support-the-strong policies. <br /> Besides,<a href="http://www.orbto.com/business-process-outsourcing/data-processing-companies/" target="_blank" class="postlink">Data Entry outsourcing</a>, in order to boost the outsourcing industry, Chengdu municipal government allocated 200 million from the city&rsquo;s industrial-development specialized fund to implement the training plan of outsourcing talents.
